IPHONE 14 PRICE IN INDIA
The iPhone 14 price in India Starts from Rs 79,900.
In general, Apple’s iPhone 14 is a secure update for people who already adore the iPhone 13. It maintains the design that is quickly becoming recognisable and, rather shockingly, the A15 Bionic from last year (which is, admittedly, a viciously potent chip in and of itself), but it also doesn’t develop the art in a way that would enable Apple to keep up with rivals.
For the first time in a while, we now have two separate iPhone tiers: what I’ll call Premium, which contains the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and, for lack of a better phrase, Basic, which comprises this iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus.
The identical A15 Bionic chip was installed in all iPhone models the previous year. While the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max receive the new A16 Bionic this year, the Apple iPhone 14 and 14 Plus receive the A15 Bionic. It’s also important to note that the iPhone 13 small did not receive an upgrade, which indicates that its little lifespan may be coming to an end.

DESIGN AND DISPLAY
The design of the iPhone 14 is flawless. The new iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max both feature the new Dynamic Island, a fungible zone that stores both the TrueDepth module and display information. While it is a virtual reproduction of the iPhone 13, it may fall short in comparison.
The 6.1-inch iPhone 14 is essentially a small piece of technology between two opulent slabs of glass that may or may not be Gorilla Glass Victus, for those who are unfamiliar with the design language Apple initially debuted with the iPhone 12. The Ceramic Shield is still present on the cover screen, so that should give another layer of defence.
A sleek aluminium band holds the, about 75.1mm x 146.7mm x 7.65mm (0.30 inches) 173g body together. The positioning of the buttons, microphone, and speaker grille are the same as on the iPhone 13. On the right, there is a larger power, sleep, and Siri button, and on the left, there is a quiet slider with volume controls below it.
What may be the lightning port’s final act is located on the base between the speaker grill and microphone holes. Apple is under pressure from the European Union to switch to USB-C for its device ports by 2024, but for this model, it is staying with lighting. Your old cables will all be happy.
This is the first iPhone to use an all-eSIM technology in place of a physical SIM slot. A smartphone without its instantly recognisable panel and the little hole for the special tool to pop out the SIM tray is surprising to see.
The somewhat square camera array on the back is present and appears unaltered from the iPhone 13. Two 12MP cameras are present, one of which is wide and the other ultra-wide.
The iPhone’s gorgeous new purple body colour option from Apple may be the most interesting aspect of the device’s design given how similar so much of it is. In’s true that purple is the “it” hue for this year’s gadgets, with Apple following Samsung in using it for its Galaxy S 22 range, Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display from the iPhone 13 has largely been carried over to the iPhone 14. Yes, it still retains the notch, which houses the upgraded TrueDepth module with all the AR sensors and, still, a 12MP camera. The resolution is still 2532 x 1170 pixels at 460 ppi.
Although it doesn’t appear like the phone has any faster charging improvements, it still supports MagSafe wireless charging.
CAMERA AND BATTERY
The Apple iPhone 14 has three cameras in total: a 12MP wide camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP TrueDepth camera on the front.
For improved low-light performance, Apple claimed to have enhanced the main camera with a bigger /1.5 aperture and larger 1.9 m pixels. The 12MP wide-angle still looks the same. However, the front TrueDepth camera now has focusing capabilities.
I did shoot with all of the lenses even though I only had a short amount of time in the demo room, and I felt the pictures were decent, but I need more practise. I will admit that after observing the new TrueDepth camera’s autofocus in action, I can see how helpful it will be.
A few new camera modes are also available. Cinematic Mode may now record in 4K at 30 and 24 frames per second. New Action Mode, a kind of electronic gimbal that smoothes out jerky video by effectively smart-cropping on the go, is also available. Nice idea, however I feel like you lose a lot of the film that isn’t directly related to your theme.
Apple has acknowledged that the iPhone 14 has the best battery life of any iPhone to date, despite never discussing battery size. That must be taken to mean at least 15 hours, but it may also imply a day or more of video watching. Obviously, I’d need to test these assertions.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
Apple’s A15 Bionic chip, which is one year old, powers the iPhone 14. Although it’s disappointing not to see the newest silicon, the A15 Bionic is still the leading mobile CPU in its field. Performance-wise, the 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU are no slouch across a variety of tasks. I got to watch a bit of gaming on the iPhone 14 and, understandably, it looked smooth.
I’ll reserve judgement until I assess Apple’s improved thermal design in the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, which may result in some battery and performance advantages.
Emergency satellite communications and crash detection are two intriguing new capabilities in the iPhone 14 series that, yes, are there in the base model.
The phone has built-in satellite communication capability. As Apple said, they manage what is frequently a very low-bandwidth connection by using the phone’s built-in antennae and some strong algorithms (you have to be outside and have a clear view of the sky).
It condenses text messages and provides some simple boilerplate communications so you can always communicate the essentials. Although the programme first comes with a free trial, you’ll eventually have to pay for it. The amount is unknown, though.
Crash detection, which was also featured on the Apple Watch 8, detects when your car is in a crash and can rapidly transmit the issue. We’ll soon witness attempts to trick the detection, I’m certain.
We have no idea how effectively these functions function, thus it may be difficult to recreate a crash or a circumstance when satellite communication is necessary (though the satellite comms can also work in Find My scenarios).
What we have a stronger grasp on, though, is what the software and interface will be like. While no one will have any issue recognising iOS hallmark design flourishes, it does include numerous substantial upgrades. Many of us have been using the iOS 16 public beta for months.
The new Lock Screen is foremost among them. The Lock Screen, which is the first thing you see when you pick up your phone (or was before the always-on display), serves as the iPhone’s business card, proclaiming its intents to you and the rest of the world.
It has a bold new style thanks to new typefaces and letter sizes, and the image segmentation that can overlay part of your image is a spectacular effect. Additionally, the lock screen now has greater functionality because of the customisable widgets.
Owners of the new iPhone 14 will discover improved notifications (no longer overwhelming the lock screen) and the capacity to use several lock screens, each with a unique focus setting.
On the new maps, consumers will be able to establish multi-stop instructions, update and retrieve text messages after they have been delivered, and take picture subjects straight from photos and put them into apps and communications.
There are several aspects of the new platform to investigate, all of which could significantly alter how you use and view the iPhone 14. The new Lock Screen appeared extremely beautiful on the device we used to test it.
By the way, the entire iPhone 14 series is 5G and debuts in a world with far more widespread robust 5G coverage.
CONCLUSION ON IPHONE 14 PRICE IN INDIA
While the iPhone 14 isn’t a significant leap forward, I really appreciate the design and feel of the gadget. However, I might only be able to distinguish it from the iPhone 13 by the new colours and the absence of a SIM card slot.
At least in some lenses, the iPhone 14 is a somewhat more potent phone than the previous version, and it might still outperform some new Android phones in terms of raw performance. The stylish new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max, with their notch-free displays and 48MP cameras, will make it difficult to stare at the iPhone 14 without casting a sideways look at it.
