Does Home Depot Take Apple Pay?
Apple Pay has been on the market for about 2 years now and it can be used almost anywhere you would normally use your credit card.
There are still some businesses that don’t accept Apple Pay such as Home Depot.
The question that has been asked by many Apple users is Does Home Depot Take Apple Pay? They say that their system doesn’t work with Apple Pay but there are some other reasons why Home Depot will not accept this form of payment in-store or online.
But if you are willing to do a bit of digging, you might be able to find out what the real reason is behind this decision.
Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service by Apple Inc. that lets users make payments in person, in iOS apps, and on the web. It’s similar to other mobile payment options like Android Pay and Samsung Pay.
You can use Apple Pay to make purchases at any store that accepts contactless payments, as well as in certain apps and on websites.
How does it work? When you set up your iPhone or Apple Watch with Apple Pay, you’ll create a unique Device Account Number that’s encrypted and stored securely on your device.
Whenever you want to pay for something in an app or on a website, instead of entering your credit card information from scratch, just authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID (depending on what device you’re using) and hold your phone near the reader.
Is Apple Accepted At Home Depot?
Yes, Home Depot does accept Apple Pay as a form of payment. You can use it in-store and online. To use Apple Pay in-store, you just need to hold your iPhone or Apple Watch up to the contactless reader.
For online purchases, select Apple Pay as your payment method during checkout. You will then be prompted to authenticate your purchase with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.
Keep in mind that since there is no card
information stored on your device, transactions are processed much faster than when using a credit card. Plus, if you’re an American Express Card Member, you’ll receive exclusive offers while shopping with Apple Pay at Home Depot.

Does Apple Pay work with my iPhone or iPad?
Yes, you can use Apple Pay at Home Depot with your iPhone or iPad. Just look for the contactless payment symbol at checkout and hold your device near the reader.
You may be prompted to enter your PIN or sign a receipt, depending on the store’s policy. You can also use Apple Pay to pay for online purchases from Home Depot.
To do so, add your credit card information in Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Credit Cards > Add Credit Card. If you want to buy something without leaving Safari, click the Buy button and select Apple Pay as your payment method.
The first time you use it, you’ll need to verify your identity by authenticating with Face ID or Touch ID. After that, just choose an item, tap Buy Now and confirm the purchase.
To pay in-store, just open the app and double-click to activate it. Hold your phone close to any contactless terminal with your finger on Touch ID (or open it to wake up) – you don’t even have to open the app!
If Home Depot is participating in Passbook, where I can store loyalty cards, show my digital driver’s license, or use Apple Pay Cash, those features will be available when using my iPhone 6s or later device.
For example, if I’m ordering merchandise online and decide to get free shipping, all I have to do is scan my personalized barcode right off the screen and put in my zip code.
What about my Mac?
If you’re wondering whether or not you can use Apple Pay at Home Depot, the answer is yes! You can use Apple Pay at any register in the store. Just look for the contactless payment symbol and hold your iPhone near the reader. If you’re using a Mac, you can also use Apple Pay in Safari.
Look for the Buy with Apple Pay button on supported websites and click it to checkout. As long as you have your phone nearby, the purchase will be made quickly and securely. Keep in mind that not all stores are equipped with this technology yet.
But when they are, you’ll be able to save time and money by using Apple Pay instead of cash or credit cards! You don’t need to worry about carrying around all of those little pieces of plastic either, because you can use Apple Pay with just your phone.
That way, you’ll always know where it is. It’s quick, easy, and most importantly secure. Plus, if your battery dies while you’re out shopping, you won’t have to panic because Apple Pay works with devices other than an iPhone! So if I’m out shopping and my battery dies…
I’ll still be able to pay with my Mac? Yup! As long as there’s a browser running on your computer that supports Buy With Apple Pay (like Safari), then you can still pay by tapping your device against the reader.
How do I get started with Apple Pay?
